INTRODUCTION:
As the Lead Designer, I had the privilege of working on a branding project for the Leah Anderson Group, a real estate agency specializing in Washington, DC, and Maryland. The project aimed to create a brand identity that would reflect the company’s values and vision. It involved designing a logo, tagline, brand manual, letterhead, envelope, and business card. Additionally, a cohesive marketing strategy covering social media, print, web, and promotional items was required.
RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS:
To begin the project, I conducted extensive research on the real estate market in the DMV area and analyzed the competition. This research helped me gain insights into current trends and identify opportunities for differentiation. I also took the time to understand the Leah Anderson Group’s values, vision, and target audience. This research formed the foundation for the brand development process.
BRAND IDENTITY CREATION:
Based on the research findings, I created a mood board that captured the overall look and feel of the brand. This mood board served as a visual guide and reference throughout the design process, ensuring that the brand identity aligned with the desired aesthetic and message.
Using the mood board as inspiration, I developed several logo concepts that reflected the company’s values and vision. I presented these concepts to the client, and through collaborative feedback and iterations, we refined the logo until it accurately represented the Leah Anderson Group.
