JOHN MENTIS - STICK WITH WHAT WORKS

John Mentis is a REALTOR in the DMV area who specializes in residential properties. He was in need of an ad campaign for the Summer season that would promote his services and generate more leads.

CLIENT BACKGROUND:


John Mentis is a REALTOR in the DMV area who specializes in residential properties. He approached my agency to design an ad campaign for the Summer season that would promote his services and generate more leads. The ad campaign included a 3-page magazine spread, oversized postcard, social media post, and e-blast.


Project Scope:


As the lead designer, I was responsible for designing all the ad campaign pieces. The scope of the project included research and analysis, creative concepting, visual design, and production.


DISCOVERY PHASE:


I began the project by conducting research and analysis of the client’s industry, competitors, and target audience. I also conducted a brand workshop with the client to gather insights into their values, mission, and vision.


CREATIVE CONCEPTING PHASE:


Based on my research and insights, I developed several creative concepts that conveyed the client’s brand image and appealed to the target audience. I presented these concepts to the client and received feedback on their preferences and suggestions for revisions.


DESIGN AND PRODUCTION PHASE:


Once the design was finalized, I began the production process for all the ad campaign pieces. For the 3-page magazine spread, I created a layout that was clean, modern, and featured high-quality images of John Mentis’ properties. I also included a brief bio of John Mentis and a call-to-action that encouraged readers to visit his website for more information.


For the oversized postcard, I created a design that was bold and eye-catching. I used a bright color palette and featured an image of one of John Mentis’ properties. I also included a brief message that highlighted John Mentis’ expertise and invited people to schedule a consultation.


For the social media post, I developed a graphic that was optimized for different platforms and formats. The graphic featured an image of John Mentis and a message that emphasized his commitment to customer satisfaction.


For the e-blast, I developed a design that was clean and simple. I used a color palette that matched the rest of the ad campaign and included a brief message that highlighted John Mentis’ services and expertise. I also included a call-to-action that encouraged readers to schedule a consultation.


RESULTS:


The ad campaign was well-received by the target audience and helped John Mentis increase awareness and interest in his services. The magazine spread generated a significant amount of interest and helped John Mentis attract new clients. The oversized postcard was effective in generating leads and driving traffic to John Mentis’ website.

The social media post and e-blast were also effective in generating engagement and attracting new leads. They helped reinforce John Mentis’ brand image and emphasized his expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction.


LESSONS LEARNED:


Through this project, I learned the importance of developing a comprehensive ad campaign that includes multiple pieces to reach a broader audience. We also learned the importance of collaborating closely with the client to ensure that their values, mission, and vision were reflected in the ad campaign. Finally, we learned the importance of conducting extensive research and analysis to understand the target audience and develop creative concepts that appeal to them.
